Information Technology Services (ISVO) wishes to inform you that we will perform a system upgrade to IPTV servers at UTMB. This upgrade will take place on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 9 am. 
 
 
Please note: We are making you aware of this upgrade because it will take between 4 to 6 hours to complete. There could be some intermittent TV outages during the system upgrade. We as ISVO will have someone at every campus: ADC, LCC, CLH, and two in Galveston to ensure we are providing quick service to all locations.

Netapp UTMBFX volume moves from Guhn to Austin

 Information Technology Services will be transitioning a portion of UTMB's Enterprise Storage from the Houston to Austin Data Center on Saturday morning November 9th at 9am. The transition is expected to last 5 minutes. This storage includes Department S: drives. After the transition is completed, computers that have mapped drives will have to be restarted for the new storage location to be reestablished. If you experience any issues after your computer is rebooted, please contact the UTMB Service Desk at ishelp@utmb.edu or call 409-772-5200.

MyStar/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions FAFSA Upgrade on Nov. 4, 2024 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm

Disaster/Weather Emergencies

In the event of a disaster or emergency weather conditions, please refer to the following lines of communication for more information:

  • Call the UTMB main operator at (409) 772-1011.
  • Information is also available via the web at www.utmb.edu/alert. Should the UTMB web server go down, a second server is in place as a backup and will be available via UTMB's normal URL: www.utmb.edu.  Additionally, an informational site will be activated at www.utmbinfo.com.
  • See www.utmb.edu/emergency_plan for UTMB Health Emergency Operations Plans.
  • Monitor local television and radio stations including KPRC/950 AM, KTRH/740 AM and KIKK/96 FM in Houston.
